The truth behind getting a six pack

Getting a six pack is often the hardest thing to do because unfortunately the lower abdomen is the last place in which we lose our fat from. It is also the first place we put any excess fat on, this leads to one of the main principles of having a great six pack being the diet. You could work out your core everyday for 4 hours and still never have a six pack if you eat 10 Mac Donalds and drink 5 beers daily. The diet is the key here and sacrifices need to be made in order for you to get a killer six pack. So firstly what can you NOT eat? Let me list a few things here:

  • Fast food - under no circumstances they may have protein but they also have horrendous amounts of fats and another thing you don't know how many calories are in them.
  • Chocolate or sweets - If you have a sweet tooth I suggest you lose it, these can't be tolerated.
  • Butters - Any fatty butter like food has to go
  • Processed meats - From mince to peparrami these cant be dealt with.
I think you get the point you can't eat anything that has a high fat content or lots of sugars. Instead you need whole foods such as leans meats and fish, with plenty of vegetables and a low amount of carbs. Some food guides can be found here.

This all being said it is still important you do EXERCISE this is what will drive the fat off your abs. Obviously if you want a ripped look you need to take up a gym regimes this will help increase your muscles so they show up more upon weight loss. Cardiovascular exercise is key as well, this is when your body will use your fat as an energy source, leading to faster rippiation - it's my new word. For lots of information this check this out how to get stronger.

Hope you enjoyed my post.
